About the Role

Alabaré is a leading charity supporting vulnerable individuals, providing a range of services to help them transform their lives. We are seeking a part-time Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team, working at the forefront of a fast-developing, person-centred mental health service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reduce presentations to Accident and Emergency (A&E) and the use of services for mental health needs, supporting clients to divert mental health crisis escalation or maintain their post-crisis recovery journey.
  • Manage and support staff with complex clients and escalations, providing person-centred support in person or over the telephone support line.
  • Facilitate the space at Riverside Sanctuary as a shift lead, ensuring evening duties are carried out and case notes are logged as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in mental health and wellbeing roles is desirable.
  • Confidence working as part of a small team, comprising Senior Peer Support Workers, Wellbeing Practitioners, and Volunteers, as well as independently.
  • A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
