About the Role:
Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join their team as a Mental Health Support Specialist. The successful candidate will work with children who require psychological support, helping them to manage their emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other experienced staff members to educate pupils
- Help manage challenging behaviors and work one-to-one with pupils to ensure they are on task
- Identify potential triggers for pupils' trauma and mental health needs
Requirements:
- Proactive and friendly individual with a passion for mental health
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs is beneficial
