Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our support team at a Specialist School just outside of Salisbury. As a recent Graduate in Psychology or Criminology, you will have a genuine interest in supporting children with psychological needs and a passion for mental health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other experienced staff members to educate pupils and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Support pupils emotionally and help identify potential triggers for their trauma and mental health needs.
  • Facilitate various therapeutic techniques and employ restorative practices to promote mental well-being.
  • Work alongside Psychologists and Therapists based at the school to gain valuable experience and skills.

Requirements

  • Recent Graduate in Psychology or Criminology.
  • Proactive and friendly individual with a passion for mental health.
  • Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs is beneficial.
