Salisbury, Wiltshire, United Kingdom Rethink Mental Illness Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Inclusion Coach to join our team at the Wiltshire Mental Health Inclusion Service. As an Inclusion Coach, you will provide community-based support to individuals affected by mental illness, helping them reconnect with their communities, develop confidence, and achieve personal goals.

You will work face-to-face with clients across Wiltshire, facilitating access to services, guiding them towards independence, and contributing to positive, meaningful outcomes in their lives. This role also involves facilitating Happy Cafés across Wiltshire, creating inclusive spaces for individuals to socialise, share experiences, and build supportive relationships.

You will work under the guidance of the Service Manager, liaising with statutory services and other local providers to ensure that individuals receive well-rounded and holistic support.

About You
  • You will have experience supporting people affected by mental illness or in social care, with a working knowledge of mental health and relevant intervention methods.
  • You will hold qualifications such as a QCF Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Care or Certificate in Community Mental Healthcare (or be working towards one).
  • You will possess strong communication and assessment skills, enabling you to develop effective support and risk management plans tailored to individual needs.
Our Values and Behaviours

We believe in and embody Rethink Mental Illness' core values: Passion, Commitment, Openness, Hope, Expertise, and Understanding. We demonstrate RethinkCARES behaviours by connecting, being accountable, showing respect, evolving, and succeeding in everything we do.

General Responsibilities

In line with our values, you will uphold data protection and safety regulations, participate in regular training, and maintain accurate and secure records. This role requires a DBS Enhanced with Adults Barred check.

We offer a wide range of support, including access to our PULSE platform, which provides discounts and benefits, as well as wellbeing support and a contributory pension scheme.

We are committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and engaged employer, and we welcome applications from everyone, including applicants with lived experience, those who are LGBTQIA+, people with a disability, and people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.
