Senior Practitioner - Mental Health

Compensation: An annual honorarium of £3000, distributed monthly for AMHP responsibilities.

Position Overview:

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a mental health social work service in the region. As a management position, you will oversee and mentor a dedicated team of qualified social workers and AMHP professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small management team
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Provide supervision and guidance on complex casework
  • Conduct AMHP interventions in accordance with the Mental Health Act and its amendments
  • Manage caseloads, including allocations and closures
  • Facilitate interagency collaboration and the advancement of social care processes
