Receptionist - Frontline Desk

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with a duration of 6 months or more.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to queries, and handling correspondence
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
- Participate in training sessions and shadow other staff members to develop skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and keyboard proficiency
- GCSE English and Maths qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting
