Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct unit, functional, integration, and manual testing to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Support User Acceptance Testing and provide feedback to development teams.
- Work closely with developers to guide and assist in the implementation of coded tests.
- Investigate and resolve testing issues and defects.
Requirements:
- Strong manual testing background with a solid understanding of various test techniques.
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience of automation frameworks (Web driver, Selenium, SQL, API, or other).
- Prior experience of application test automation.
Desirable Skills:
- C#.net and Object-Oriented Programming and Design or Strong T-SQL Skills and Experience of SSIS.
- Familiarisation with unit testing.
- Database Unit Testing knowledge.
- JavaScript testing frameworks.
- Understanding or experience of: Team Foundation Server, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy.
