Quality Assurance Specialist

Wakefield Council is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Quality Team, you will play a crucial role in promoting quality improvement in the independent sector and in-house care providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the NHS and other partners to integrate quality assurance across services in the Wakefield District.
- Support the Senior Quality Assurance Lead in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks, standards, and systems.
- Engage with care and support providers to secure high-quality services and influence standards of care.
- Provide advice and expertise on quality improvement to commissioners and providers.
- Develop effective relationships with independent sector providers and representative groups.
- Support quality and performance management across adult services.
- Lead on the analysis of quality of services and prepare reports on areas of good practice and poor performance.
- Education to Degree level in an appropriate subject or NVQ level 4 (or equivalent) within 2 years.
- Understanding of current policy and law relating to Adult Social Care.
- Experience of working in a performance, information, commissioning, or quality assurance role.
- Experience of leading on and undertaking projects.
- Experience of inter-agency partnership.
- Flexible full-time working pattern of 37 hours per week.
- Hybrid – office and home-based working.
