Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and their families, promoting self-management and independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and maintain a holistic support network for people with diabetes.
  • Participate in shared responsibility for stock management and reordering as necessary.
  • Deliver an evidence-based proactive nursing service, responsive to the user's needs, in line with current local protocols and national guidelines.
  • Act as an autonomous practitioner, providing expert and advanced specialist advice and support.
