Job Description

Job Title: Senior Energy Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Energy Manager will be responsible for leading the technical services team and overseeing the delivery of energy management services across the building. This role will require strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure the effective management of energy systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of technical services operations across the building, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with energy and environmental regulations, codes, and certifications.
  • Manage and maintain maintenance strategies and systems for the building, facilities, and public areas.
  • Develop and implement environmental and energy conservation programs to optimize energy usage.
  • Collaborate with the property team to deliver the building fabric and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Ensure that all ICT systems, including converged networks, telephony, and local systems, are compliant with statutory and data protection obligations.
  • Monitor and report on energy performance and identify opportunities for energy savings.
  • Develop and maintain emergency procedures and safe working practices to ensure the health and safety of all occupiers, visitors, and employees.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with service partners and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in energy management and engineering.
  • Leadership and management experience in a technical services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of energy and environmental regulations, codes, and certifications.
  • Experience in managing critical infrastructure, including complex high-voltage networks.
  • ISOH/NEBOSH certification or equivalent.

Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
