Early Years Apprentice

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Bright Horizons Forest Park Day Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, aged from birth to five years old.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a nursery team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless care and education.
  • Contribute to the development of our children's skills and abilities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2. If not already held, a willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside the apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but not essential.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills to work with children and adults.
