About the Role:

The London Bridge Hospital is seeking a seasoned Cath Lab Manager to lead our team of experts in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. As Cath Lab Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational expertise to ensure a seamless service delivery, including on-call support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and development of our cardiac and IR services, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of cath lab staff.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation protection policies and procedures, participating in local radiation user groups and radiation protection committees as required.
  • Manage the cath lab budget, analyzing complex data to inform financial decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of cath lab professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Clinical qualification and registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Extensive experience in cardiac catheter laboratories, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Expertise in invasive cardiology, with knowledge of national service frameworks and NICE guidelines.
