Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Macstaff. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects to the highest standard and contributing to the overall success of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee the external works on a project of ~£15M, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard and within budget.
  • To manage and coordinate the work of direct employees and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required quality.
  • To develop and implement strategies to manage the quality of workmanship, including regular site inspections and monitoring of progress.
  • To work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

Requirements

  • A Trade Apprenticeship in a relevant trade, such as construction or engineering.
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience of groundworks and earthworks, including the management of complex projects and planning information.
  • Ability to plan over a longer period and take into account more interdependent variables in planning.
  • Ability to demonstrate time management strategies to deal with the range and complexity of tasks.
