About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead the development and maintenance of project programmes for our flagship construction projects. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes, including all phases from initiation to completion.
  • Maintaining and updating project programmes based on actual progress and changes in project scope.
  • Capturing and recording as-planned versus as-built information, demonstrating the impact of delay events, and adding any new or modified tasks and sequences.

You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to integrate programmes, identify risks, and provide strategic planning support. We are looking for a construction planning professional with a healthy mix of the following:

Requirements
  • Education: degree in Construction Management, Project Management Qualifications, or a related field.
  • Experience: minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project programming, with at least 3-5 years in a senior scheduling role.
  • Software Skills: proficiency in programme software predominantly Elecosoft Power Project, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge: strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource levelling techniques.
  • Skills: excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Effective communication and people skills.
  • Attributes: meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
