About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Night Coordinator to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Night Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Nursing Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to service users during night shifts, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Manage Clinical Duties: Coordinate and lead clinical duties to ensure quality and safety are maintained, including supervising and training junior staff members.
  • Operational Management: Support the operational management team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to night staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth and development.
  • Cost Management: Identify and mitigate night-time cost pressures, working closely with the budget team to ensure effective financial management.
  • Reporting and Statistics: Provide regular reports and statistics to the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director, ensuring accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), with a strong track record of leadership and clinical expertise.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver high-quality care.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of clinical practices and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
