About Our Client

Our client is a young woman in her late twenties, residing with her mother.

She requires assistance with mobility and relies on a dedicated care team to address her complex clinical needs during the night on both a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

With a passion for horses, she enjoys engaging with her family, friends, and care team.

Your shift will commence at 7 PM, where you will provide comprehensive support to our client, ensuring all her care requirements are met, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and light household tasks.

Our client prefers to be settled in bed by 10 PM and enjoys watching television to help her relax before sleep. Once she is comfortable, the care team will have access to their own private room to rest, utilizing the home's amenities such as the bathroom and kitchen. You will remain vigilant and responsive throughout the night to address any needs that may arise, creating a serene environment conducive to a restful night's sleep.

Should urgent assistance be required overnight, she can alert her care team using a voice-activated device linked to her iPad.

To excel in this position, it is crucial that you possess experience in the following areas:

  • A minimum of 3 months' prior care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Mobility Assistance
  • A valid driver's license

Experience with the following clinical needs is preferred but not mandatory:

  • Spinal Injury Management
  • Catheter Care
  • Cough Assist
  • Awareness of Autonomic Dysreflexia

Available Shifts

  • Sleep-In Shifts: 2 shifts per week
  • 7 PM - 7 AM

Compensation Details

We offer approximately £136.50 per sleep-in shift based on a 12-hour shift, with enhanced rates for bank holidays at approximately £150 per shift.
