We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Business Officer to lead our global revenue growth efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Global Revenue Growth Strategies: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement global revenue growth strategies, focusing on digital transformation and revenue diversification.
- Lead Senior Sales Team: Lead a team of senior sales professionals, each managing key verticals, to drive revenue growth across all platforms.
- Foster Client and Agency Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients and agencies, nurturing renewal rates and accelerating new business.
- Collaborate with Editorial and Creative Teams: Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to ensure cross-platform program execution and success.
- Establish Global Stakeholder Relationships: Establish collaborative working relationships with global stakeholders to drive revenue growth and business development.
- Develop Talent and Drive Culture: Develop talent and drive a culture of collaboration, performance, respect, and excellence within the commercial sales function.
Requirements
- Proven Experience in Media Industry: Proven experience of leading a commercial sales function within the media industry.
- Commercial Revenue Experience: Extensive commercial revenue experience and the demonstrated ability of successfully transforming and expertly driving revenue across all platforms within a global business.
- Diversified Revenue Streams: Demonstrated experience of diversifying revenue streams and launching new products.
- People Management: An excellent leader, committed to people management, with proven experience of establishing high-performing commercial teams across all platforms.
- Global Commercial Strategies: Experience of working globally to help shape and implement global commercial strategies within media and publishing.
- Excellent Communication: An excellent communicator, with the proven ability of navigating a matrix structure, effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders in various markets and functions.
- Media Industry Network: Excellent network within the media industry.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter who possesses high energy and excellent presentation, creative, and analytical skills.
- Condé Nast Knowledge: Passionate and knowledgeable about Condé Nast's brands.
