Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff and providing exceptional care and education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to teaching staff, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Deliver high-quality intervention support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being of students
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and reporting progress

Requirements:

  • Level 5 or above CACHE Teaching Qualification or experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  • Significant experience working with students with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively across the primary age range
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
