Project Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Worker to join our team at Action Mental Health. The successful candidate will provide a support and information service to children, young people, and adults regarding mental health promotion and suicide and self-harm prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs in mental health promotion and suicide prevention to various groups and organizations.
- Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, community groups, and healthcare providers, to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Provide resources and signpost individuals to effective sources of support, including counseling services and support groups.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement mental health promotion strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, community groups, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Education to A Level or equivalent in a related discipline (health, education, or social care sector).
- Paid or voluntary experience of working with people with mental health needs and/or children and young people.
- Experience in developing and extending relevant networking opportunities.
- Ability to deliver training in a group setting (groups of 8+ people).
- Full current driving license and access to a car (consideration will be given to alternative traveling proposals for applicants with a disability).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:30-16:30, Friday 08:30-15:15.
