Job Title: PMLD Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team at Enlighten Supply Pool Ltd. As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in a Special Needs School in Slough.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the development and learning of students within the SEN School
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements for the day
  • Ability to provide personal care
  • Working effectively alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained
  • Adhere to the Schools policies including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Health and Safety
Requirements:
  • A patient and understanding approach
  • Experience in working with students with SEN, specifically Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties would be preferred
  • Flexible approach
  • Adult and Child DBS on the update service

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
