Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AHP Practice Education Facilitator to join our dynamic team at Medway Community Healthcare. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in shaping and driving forward the AHP education agenda, making a real impact on the future of healthcare.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of AHP training programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and educational materials that promote best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and supervision to AHP students, preceptors, and newly qualified practitioners to facilitate their transition into clinical practice.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessment and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AHP practice, education, and technology to ensure training programs remain current and relevant.

Key Requirements
  • AHP registration
  • Post-registration experience of at least 3 years
  • Supportive statement giving a good overview of previous experience and competence
  • Preceptor and practice educator experience
  • Experience of supporting newly registered staff in practice, supporting with competency development and assessment
  • Experience of delivering training and assessment of staff in practice
  • Caring and compassionate, delivering quality and value, and working in partnership
