Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Process Project Engineer to join our team at Manpower UK. As an Interim Process Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects within our Sourcing Units, from design to commissioning of process plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement equipment schedules and project documentation
  • Install, test, and commission plant equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct technical surveys and feasibility studies to identify potential project risks and opportunities
  • Create scope documents for equipment design, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Manage contractors and civil aspects of plant installation, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and status

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hygienic plant and process design, with a strong understanding of industry regulations
  • Experience with plant equipment installation, including testing and commissioning
  • Excellent contractor management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts
  • Proficiency in process P&ID's and plant flow layouts, with a strong understanding of process engineering principles
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with experience in project management tools and software
  • Chemical engineering background, with a strong understanding of process safety and risk management
  • Project management experience or qualification, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
