Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Credit team as an Apprentice Credit Controller. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in credit control, working closely with our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a ledger of up to 600 live accounts with debt between £100 and £200,000.00, ensuring accurate and timely collection of debts.
- Maximize debt collection through effective communication with customers, using telephone, email, and debt letters as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Senior Credit Controller to review performance and overdue debts on a monthly basis.
- Support the allocation of cash when requested and process new credit applications.
- Maintain accurate customer records and liaise with other branches as required.
- Contribute to the reduction in value and volume of queries and disputes.
- Desirable knowledge of Self-billing Accounts.
- Understanding of Credit Control accounting processes and procedures.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Organized and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
