Job Summary:

The Landmark London Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Manager to join our Front Office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area, providing exceptional customer service, and leading by example to motivate and support your team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the front desk, including managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Lead and motivate the reception team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules, ensuring effective staffing and efficient operation of the front desk.
  • Participate in training programs to develop staff skills and knowledge, minimizing turnover and promoting staff development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Ability to work a shift rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
