Tradewind Recruitment is in search of a caring and committed Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join a dedicated team in a specialized educational environment.

This role is full-time and long-term, with the potential for a permanent position for the right individual.

As a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist students with special educational needs, positively impacting their educational journey and collaborating closely with educators to ensure that students receive the essential support required to thrive academically.

  • Assist students with diverse and complex needs.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Contribute to the formulation of school policies and strategies.
  • Prior experience in educational support roles or care settings is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding policies and practices is essential.
  • A current DBS check is required.
