Pear Talent is collaborating with a rapidly expanding M&A-focused international Financial Services organization that offers an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst within their divisional FP&A and business partnering unit. This team works closely with the organization, delivering essential performance insights and commercial financial planning assistance to the executive team, significantly impacting the strategic decision-making processes of the company.

In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be instrumental in delivering comprehensive reporting and analysis. You will also support business partnering initiatives and engage in various ad-hoc commercial activities, including mergers and acquisitions and fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce business performance evaluations, management information reports, financial forecasts, and regular executive presentations.
  • Financial modeling - enhance existing models and develop new ones to meet the changing demands of the business.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making as requested by senior management (e.g., scenario analysis, reforecasts).
  • Play a vital role in the annual budgeting process; gather and model inputs to yield precise financial and KPI outputs.
  • Assist in responding to investor inquiries and support the external communication of the organization's performance, results, and future goals.
  • Contribute to new investment initiatives, acquisitions, and corporate projects on an as-needed basis.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with prior experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Management Information within a Financial Services environment. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience in developing and/or maintaining financial models is advantageous but not mandatory.
