Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday Nights 8pm - 5am

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Package

Company Overview: Velocity Recruitment is a premier maintenance service provider, seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to enhance our team in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
  • Maintain emergency lighting systems.
  • Oversee sprinkler systems and lamp replacement.
  • Manage Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
  • Ensure the proper functioning of cooling towers.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize pump systems effectively.
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge in building services, particularly in UPS systems, transfer switches, PLC systems, critical cooling systems, water treatment, refrigeration systems, and HV/LV electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • Testing & Inspecting certification (2391).
  • Proven experience in building maintenance.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Client-facing experience.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role is required.
