About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Foundation Engineer to join our team at MPI Offshore Limited. As a key member of our foundation team, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to tenders and projects for the transportation and installation of wind turbine components for the offshore wind industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Project Methodology: Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project methodology, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Technical Evaluations: Conduct thorough technical evaluations and provide recommendations for the design and installation of wind turbine components.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and review operational plans, including vessel arrangements, lifting plans, and vessel positioning, to ensure safe and efficient installation.
  • Process Standardization and Optimization: Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize work processes, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Transportation and Installation Solutions: Develop and implement efficient and effective methods for the transportation and installation of wind turbine components.
Requirements
  • Education: A Civil, Mechanical, or Offshore Engineering degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a structural design environment, providing detailed design and engineering of heavy structures.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to provide solutions to project deliverables, produce structural calculations by hand and computer, and extensive knowledge of 3D/FEA software.
  • Installation Engineering: Extensive experience of installation engineering, including deck layout, lift & rigging plans, and operational procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Proven ability to offer technical support and advice during project execution, and effective communication skills to work in a team on multiple projects.
