Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Recruitment Bunker. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the management of full vehicle projects within the group, including timing, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
  • Oversee the delivery of full vehicle projects supported by multi-disciplined Engineering team
  • Lead and mentor a team of project engineers to ensure delivery of projects within their control
  • Support Marketing/Sales to explore new opportunities and construction of budgets for aftermarket products
  • Ensure all projects have Purchase Order coverage for the correct value as per the DRVN budget and negotiations
  • Manage, monitor, and control the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and gateway requirements
  • Liaise with core engineering management to set expectations, review objectives, and ensure appropriate deployment of project resources
  • Report weekly and at monthly governance reviews the project team's performance in the management meetings
  • Demonstrate leadership within your project teams through strong communication and governance
  • Interface with associated DRVN customers to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered as per agreed budgets
  • Provide daily motivation and a positive outlook for your subordinates
  • Ensure your team upholds DRVN's quality accreditation and other specific DRVN systems
  • Uphold the core values of DRVN
Essential Skills:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
  • Relevant and proven experience of successfully delivering a full vehicle programme through to launch, in the role of a Project/Programme Manager within a fast-paced, forward-thinking automotive company or similar environment
  • Significant Project Management experience and use of Project Management systems
  • Ability to interface with senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on both operational and statistical levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible attitude and ability to manage one's own time and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Full driving licence as travel will be required as part of the role
  • Confident approach to team interaction
  • Show leadership and directional skills within own subject area
  • Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided
