Electro-Mechanical Engineer

The Medical Equipment Department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join their Equipment Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and assisting in the delivery of high-quality equipment management within the trust.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be committed to providing best practice solutions to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment asset management. You will work closely with the team to ensure the effective medical equipment support to the various wards and departments of the trust.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the maintenance of complex equipment associated with a hospital trust, including monitoring, diagnostic, and surgical systems.
- Work on preventative maintenance schedules and asset management systems.
- Provide effective medical equipment support to the various wards and departments of the trust.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality equipment management within the trust.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering, with a minimum of three years' experience in a complex electronic services or healthcare environment. They will also possess good communication skills, the ability to self-manage and work without supervision, and Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
