Job Overview
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our Medical Equipment Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and assisting in the delivery of high-quality equipment management within the trust.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be committed to providing best practice solutions to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment asset management. You will work closely with our team to provide effective medical equipment support to the various wards and departments of the trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of complex medical equipment
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and asset management systems
- Provide training and support to staff on the use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of equipment management services
Requirements
- Electronic engineering NVQ 4 minimum
- Good awareness of health & safety legislation relating to electronic equipment testing
- Ability to self-manage and work without supervision
- Microsoft Excel and Word skills
