Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to manage the build workshop for Strive Supply Chain LLP, a leading provider of set and decoration services for various events and exhibitions. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design and production processes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the work of carpenters, painters, and finishers, as well as managing the supply chain and logistics for materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate the work of carpenters, painters, and finishers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  3. Logistics and Operations: Coordinate logistics and operations for crewing, loading schedules, and packing.
  4. Project Management: Work closely with project managers to manage workflow and design details.
  5. Asset Management: Manage the return of projects, hires, recycling, and disposal of materials and equipment.
  6. Equipment Management: Book and order hire equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Project Management: Strong knowledge of design and production led project management principles.
  2. Leadership and Teamwork: Excellent personnel skills to manage a large team of people with different skills.
  3. Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate a wide range of projects and components, and to prioritize workflow and completion dates.
  4. Time Management: Ability to cope with tight time frames and short lead times.

This role is a critical part of the Strive Supply Chain LLP team, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from product launches to fashion shows and exhibitions. They will be part of a dynamic and creative team, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.
