Job Summary

Consilium Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our engineering workshop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop staff, including technicians and apprentices, to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality results.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assign tasks and projects to technicians based on their skills and workload, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  • Plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Monitor and inspect work performed by technicians to ensure it meets quality and safety standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct final inspections and test drives to verify the quality of repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices, applying knowledge to improve workshop performance and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled work and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and compliant with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an automotive repair or maintenance role, including experience in a supervisory or leadership position, with a strong understanding of workshop operations and management.
  • Excellent mechanical and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
