Job Title: High Calibre Estates Manager for Ultra High Net Worth Family in London
Job Summary:
Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial units, spanning London, Oxfordshire, and the North.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure the wellbeing of the properties
- Manage day-to-day issues and coordinate maintenance and repair works, including systems such as HVAC, AV, lighting, and swimming pools
- Oversee security management, including intruder alarm systems, access control, surveillance equipment, and tracking onsite personnel, including third-party contractors
- Handle supplier and contractor management, from vetting and negotiating contracts to ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Keep the principals informed of property developments via weekly schedules and maintain household calendars
- Develop house operating manuals, project manage, post-project snagging, budget management, and expense validation
- Manage private household staff teams across London, Oxfordshire, and Yorkshire, including hiring, onboarding, and supervision
- Implement safety procedures and training for staff, assist with property transactions, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, meet commercial landlord obligations, obtain and update property insurances, and manage utilities
- Hold key responsibilities
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, with flexibility for out-of-hours contact as needed
Salary: Negotiable around £65,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
Accommodation: Provided during travel between properties
