Dietitian - Care Home Professional Support Specialist

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team in providing care home support. As a Dietitian, you will work collaboratively with care home staff to improve the knowledge and wellbeing of residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to care home staff on dietetic support.
- Work alongside community dietetic teams to ensure seamless care.
- Develop and maintain clinical skills through regular training and mentorship.
- Travel across the Ayrshire and Arran region to support care homes.
- Degree in AHP discipline (Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Speech & Language Therapy).
- State registration with HCPC.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Evidence of working across a range of specialities, including complex care, older people, and community rehabilitation.
This is a fixed-term/secondment position until March 2025. You will work 37 hours per week, with part-time hours considered. A UK driving licence and car ownership are essential for this role.
