Our team is dedicated to developing sophisticated software for naval combat systems, mine countermeasures, unmanned systems, command and control frameworks, and acoustic technologies.

This role is essential in driving our strategic objectives, with a focus on software development for naval advancements.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will guide and mentor software development teams, utilizing your expertise to ensure project success.

You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to identify their requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass software development using programming languages such as C++, Java, and others, system architecture design utilizing UML/Enterprise Architect, unit testing, HMI design and development, and configuration management.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team and may need to travel occasionally for testing and integration purposes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in leading software development initiatives.
Background in managing teams of software engineers, either functionally or in a managerial role.
A degree or equivalent qualification in software engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, with a preference for experience in military systems, particularly maritime applications.
Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and Principles.
Extensive experience with Software Engineering Lifecycle processes and tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to critically assess results and methods for quality assurance.
Ability to broaden knowledge into new domains, collaborate across disciplines, and maintain a holistic perspective.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations effectively.

Strong written communication skills, particularly in technical documentation, and the ability to engage with both expert and non-expert audiences.

Ideally, experience in one or more of the following areas: Maritime Combat Systems, software and equipment integration, mine countermeasures, unmanned systems, command and control frameworks, acoustic technologies, and software safety standards.
