About the Role

Flooid is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide strategic and operational legal support to the company, working closely with our internationally recognized legal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the business, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Support the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, including software and IT agreements.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel: EMEA and Sales and Account Executives to ensure effective contract negotiation and onboarding of new business.
  • Develop and maintain precedent documentation and contract databases.
  • Support the Supplier Management team with onboarding of suppliers and negotiation of contracts.
  • Provide first-line support to the Group HRD and global HR team on employment matters.
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor and admitted to practice law in the United Kingdom.
  • 4+ years of relevant in-house or industry experience.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Requests, Professional Services Agreements, SaaS and Subscription Agreements.
  • Experience working with third parties (distributors, subcontractors, etc.) and referral agreements.
  • Previous exposure to multi-jurisdictional and cross-border international contracts.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic in-house IT environment.
