Role Overview and Daily Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Architectural Services, you will engage with external clients and partners, as well as internal Service Account Managers and Business Development Managers. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Customer Strategy sessions to assist clients in developing their IT Strategy and Roadmap.

Key responsibilities include:

Crafting detailed technical solutions with proposed pricing for clients as directed by Service Account Management and Business Development teams. Supporting presales initiatives by preparing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, business case development, and Statements of Work (SoW), which encompass overviews, scope, duration, activities, assumptions, deliverables, resources, risk mitigation, terms and conditions, pricing, and executive summaries. Collaborating with the Chief Technology Officer to enhance standards, methodologies, and maintain awareness of industry and technological advancements. Pre-qualifying and supporting broader sales and delivery efforts for significant and intricate sales initiatives, including comprehensive IT optimization, consolidation, migration, transformation, and lifecycle solutions for current and prospective clients. Conducting strategy sessions with Service Account Managers to assist clients in formulating their IT strategy and roadmap. Leading the technical design through to delivery phases, addressing challenges as they arise during project execution. Delivering high-quality consulting work through workshops, presentations, or solutions architecture designs. Driving improvements in clients' cloud environments covering personnel, processes, and technology, acting as a key decision-maker within their governance framework. Enhancing the cloud architect community by presenting at internal and external events and identifying opportunities for new engagements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

An enterprise architect with a background in End-User Computing (EUC), you should be adept at engaging with all levels of the client's organization, from building relationships with senior leadership to guiding DevOps teams and developers in crafting solutions.

You will possess extensive experience in developing platforms on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, along with proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native systems and/or migrating existing systems to the cloud. Additionally, a strong understanding of EUC technologies and solutions is essential.

You will excel in leading architectural engagements, taking ownership of delivering customer value within consulting projects. As a thought leader, you can present complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated experience in architecting systems built on public cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/O365). Strong understanding of fundamental concepts such as platform availability, networking, security, authentication, virtualization, and WAN technologies. Ability to produce high-quality and precise architectural and design documentation. Capability to deliver client presentations in a professional and consultative manner. Skill in managing a demanding workload with strict deadlines within a dynamic team environment. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in IT solutions such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, cybersecurity, networking, and support services. Proven track record in delivering technical professional services engagements to clients. While hands-on project or delivery work is not required, a solid understanding of software engineering and cloud technology, along with its benefits and challenges, is necessary.
