Role Overview and Daily Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Architectural Services, you will work closely with external clients and vendors, as well as internal Service Account Managers and Business Development Managers. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Customer Strategy sessions to assist clients in formulating their IT Strategy and Roadmap.
Key responsibilities include:
Crafting comprehensive technical solutions with proposed pricing for clients, initiated by Service Account Management and Business Development teams. Supporting presales initiatives by preparing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, business case development, and Statements of Work (SoW), encompassing overviews, scope, duration, activities, assumptions, deliverables, resources, risk management, terms and conditions, pricing, and executive summaries. Collaborating with the Chief Technology Officer to enhance standards, methodologies, and stay informed about industry and technology advancements. Pre-qualifying and supporting broader sales and delivery efforts for significant and intricate sales initiatives, including comprehensive IT optimization, consolidation, migration, transformation, and lifecycle solutions for current and prospective clients. Conducting strategy sessions with Service Account Managers to assist clients in shaping their IT strategy and roadmap. Leading the technical design through delivery phases, addressing challenges as they arise during project execution. Delivering high-quality consulting work through workshops, presentations, or solutions architecture designs. Driving improvements in clients' cloud environments concerning people, processes, and technology, serving as a key decision-maker within their governance framework. Contributing to the cloud architect community by speaking at internal and external events and identifying new engagement opportunities.Desired Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:
As an enterprise architect with expertise in End-User Computing (EUC), you should be adept at engaging with all levels of the client's organization, from establishing relationships with senior/C-level leadership to guiding DevOps and developers in crafting solutions.
You will possess extensive experience in building platforms on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, along with demonstrable proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-native systems and/or migrating existing systems to the cloud. Additionally, expertise in EUC technologies and solutions is essential.
You will excel in leading architectural engagements, taking ownership of delivering customer value within consulting projects. As a thought leader, you can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in architecting systems utilizing public cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/O365). Strong understanding of fundamental concepts such as platform availability, networking, security, authentication, virtualization, and WAN technologies. Ability to produce high-quality and precise architectural and design documentation. Capability to deliver client presentations in a professional and consultative manner. Skill in managing a demanding workload with strict deadlines within a dynamic team environment. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in IT solutions such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, cybersecurity, networking, and support services. Proven track record in delivering technical professional services engagements to clients. The role does not require hands-on project or delivery work; however, a solid understanding of software engineering and cloud technology, including its benefits and challenges, is necessary.What We Offer:
