About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit (ARTU) team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs, including those with severe head trauma, spinal injuries, and polytrauma.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our ARTU, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care to patients with complex needs, including those with tracheostomies and acute trauma polytrauma.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patients are receiving the best possible care.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working in acute hospital settings, preferably in neurosurgical and/or trauma & orthopaedic specialties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
