At Lovely Pubs, we're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and fresh, seasonal food to our customers. We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our premium pub-restaurants.

Job Purpose

We're looking for a dynamic and inspirational leader to manage our 7 sites across Warwickshire. As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our pubs consistently deliver outstanding hospitality, fresh food, and exceptional customer experiences. You'll lead with energy and inspire your teams to continuously improve, fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and high morale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership to your teams, ensuring they consistently deliver high standards of food, drink, and hospitality.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, support, and high morale across all sites.
  • Establish a working environment where teams feel empowered and engaged.
  • Have a real passion for hospitality and the principle of 'shared ownership', share our Purpose of 'creating experiences that nourish the soul'
  • Ensure a fantastic customer experience by setting and maintaining outstanding service and quality standards across all Lovely Pubs locations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and make regular competitor visits to ensure Lovely Pubs remains the first choice for customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the guest experience, always seeking to refine and evolve our offering.
  • Build and strengthen your teams by coaching managers, providing development opportunities, and fostering a culture of learning.
  • Regularly identify and mentor high-potential team members, ensuring a robust succession plan across all sites.
  • Encourage a shared sense of ownership amongst teams, ensuring everyone feels invested in the success of their pub.
  • Take a commercial, entrepreneurial approach to drive profitability and growth across the Lovely Pubs portfolio.
  • Ensure each pub has a clear vision that aligns with the Lovely Pubs brand and Fuller's values.
  • Use data-driven insights to analyse performance and identify opportunities for growth and profit maximisation.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Uphold Fuller's reputation and Lovely Pubs' brand by adhering to legal and compliance standards, fostering trust and excellence in all operational aspects.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth within a multi-site hospitality environment.
  • An inspiring leader with high emotional intelligence and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Passionate about fresh, seasonal food with a solid understanding of menu engineering to deliver great food quickly and consistently.
  • A real zest for hospitality with a belief in the principle of Shared Ownership - making every team member feel responsible for the guest experience and the business's success.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to make data-informed decisions to drive performance.
  • Willingness to work 2-3 evenings a week and every other weekend, to ensure hands-on leadership during key trading times.
