About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our IT infrastructure and data.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of secure network infrastructure and systems.
  • Manage and maintain our security incident response plan and coordinate responses to security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and provide guidance and support to the team on security best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity with a record of growing scope and responsibility.
  • Ability to translate technical language into readily understandable language for business users.
  • Experience with and understanding of cybersecurity management, technologies, architecture, and audits.
  • Knowledgeable of cybersecurity aspects related to networking, application development, ops, incident response, 3rd party vendor management, and OT.
  • Deep, end-to-end cybersecurity knowledge accompanying at least one business area: manufacturing, finance, marketing/eCommerce, HR, legal, supply chain, sales/trade, physical security.
  • Understanding of cloud and SaaS configuration management and risk reduction (focus on Azure and AWS) and how to protect and detect potential threats in those environments.
  • Eye for business, ability to articulate both business, commercial, and technical ideas clearly and simply.
  • Understanding of encryption technologies, secure coding practices, and security architecture design.
  • Understanding of configuration for network devices, security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Project Management experience in cybersecurity or IT.
