About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team at Insignis. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-tier IT support to our employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional IT Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, both remotely and on-site.
  • Collaborate with IT Professionals: Work closely with a diverse team of IT professionals to deliver on agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meet company requirements.
  • Develop Team Members: Assess and develop team members' skills and potential, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to excel in their roles.
  • Coordinate Tasks and Priorities: Manage tasks, prioritize work, and optimize resource use to ensure efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Oversee Information Handling: Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices for information handling and record-keeping.
  • Address Issues and Adhere to Standards: Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and Report on Budget Expenditure: Evaluate and optimize budget expenditure for efficiency, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Evaluate and Improve Processes: Continuously assess and improve IT processes to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Requirements
  • ITIL Ways of Working: Familiarity with ITIL best practices and methodologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working with team members both virtually and in-person, across various teams and departments.
  • Troubleshooting and Systems Management: Strong experience in troubleshooting and systems management, with a broad understanding of diverse user bases.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in VMware, databases, backup and recovery, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Time-Sensitive Situations: Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
  • Upgrade and Stakeholder Management: Experience with handling upgrades and collaborating with stakeholders.
