We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to play a vital role in establishing a global supply chain and fostering opportunities within the industry.

Role Objectives:

  1. Engage in the development of Small Modular Reactors, contributing significantly to the global decarbonization efforts.
  2. Formulate and implement a procurement strategy for the PDP/EPC supply chain partner, facilitating the deployment of power stations.
  3. Lead and coordinate tender processes to evaluate and select EPC/PDP partners through established procurement protocols.
  4. Oversee project management of procurement initiatives within this partnership framework.
  5. Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team.

Essential Qualifications

Experience in regulated supply chain management.

The ideal candidate will have a background in operations, procurement, or supply chain management, with experience in meeting demanding objectives under tight deadlines. A cross-functional background encompassing strategy, commercial acumen, project management, regulatory compliance, logistics, and comprehensive supply chain solutions is preferred.

Strategic Framework Application

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to deploy frameworks that develop targeted strategies to meet business objectives while recognizing global opportunities and varying regulatory landscapes.

Category Management Expertise

  1. Experience in managing or collaborating with organizations that execute infrastructure projects as EPC.

Experience in managing partnerships within highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, power generation, civil engineering, aerospace, automotive, or petrochemical industries is highly beneficial.

Stakeholder Engagement and Influence

Effective communication with various functions, including engineering, commercial, manufacturing, and project management, is crucial. Additionally, representing the organization with external stakeholders requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Team Leadership Responsibilities

  1. Experience in leading and nurturing a high-performance supply chain team is essential. The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to generate insights into business performance and supply chain operations, implementing performance management processes to set objectives, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  2. Continually contribute to the development of a high-performing supply chain team and drive organizational success.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Salary - £57,600 - £75,600
  2. Performance-related bonus of up to 12.5%
