We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to play a crucial role in establishing a global supply chain and fostering opportunities across the industry.
Role Objectives:
This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the development of Small Modular Reactors, playing a vital part in achieving decarbonization and global net-zero targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Formulating and implementing a procurement strategy for the PDP/EPC supply chain partner to support power station deployment.
- Leading tender processes to evaluate and select EPC/PDP partners through established procurement methodologies.
- Managing procurement activities for this partnership workstream with a focus on project management.
- Providing leadership and guidance to procurement team members.
Candidate Profile
Experience in regulated supply chain environments.
The ideal candidate will have a background in operations, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of meeting challenging objectives within tight deadlines. Experience across various functions, including strategy, commercial operations, project management, and logistics, is preferred.
Strategic Framework Application.
The successful applicant will demonstrate expertise in deploying frameworks to develop tailored strategies that align with business objectives while recognizing global opportunities and regulatory variances.
Category Management Expertise.
Experience in managing or collaborating with organizations that execute infrastructure projects as EPC is essential. Familiarity with highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, power generation, construction, and aerospace will be advantageous.
Stakeholder Engagement and Influence.
Effective communication with various functions, including engineering, commercial, and project management, is critical. The role also involves representing the organization to external stakeholders, necessitating strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Team Leadership Responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading and developing high-performance supply chain teams. Collaboration with team members to generate performance insights and implementing management processes to foster continuous improvement will be key aspects of this role.
