Job Title: Sales Compensation Manager

As a Sales Compensation Manager at Thegradcafe, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of sales compensation plans, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring accurate and timely commission payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales compensation analysts in implementing sales compensation plans, including UAT and commission calculations.
  • Support the field and other departments by responding to inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing sales leader and field support.
  • Manage the incentive compensation plan implementation in Xactly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plans.
  • Resolve escalated issues and questions concerning incentive plan design, measures, and policies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, Sales Operations, and Sales and Client Services Management to develop and implement administrative Compensation Policies.
  • Provide ongoing reports to assist analysis of historical, current, and prospective sales commission activity.
  • Function as an administrative SME to the Director of Sales Compensation, Design & Analytics, and key team leaders in the design of compensation plans.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in quantitative major (finance, business, mathematics, statistics) preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of sales compensation experience required.
  • Strong analytical chops, problem-solving mindset, and exceptional project management skills.
  • Experience in large, complex organizations with multiple revenue channels or sales divisions.
  • Advanced time management skills, including ability to oversee multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of PowerPoint, Excel, advanced formulas, and scenario analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Xactly with ability to optimize its use internally and externally to the sales incentive team.
