About the Role

Abcam is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our global reward team as the Head of Compensation and Benefits. This key role will be responsible for operating Abcam's compensation, benefits, and payroll policies to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Danaher's Global Compensation & Reward Framework (GCRF) processes on Workday as relates to Abcam's employees.
  • Contribute to any Danaher processes on share incentive programs, and manage queries and historic relationships with Abcam providers.
  • Develop and maintain SOX compliant processes for the delivery of compensation and benefits administration at Abcam.
  • Provide expertise on Benefits, Global Mobility, Health & Wellbeing, and Recognition for all Countries ensuring Benefits Governance and Compliance.
  • Conduct annual Benefit Reviews to support the preparation of the annual total reward proposal in line with the corporate budgeting process.
  • Manage the communications calendar on compensation and benefits items.
  • Manage the global relationship with external benefits vendors.

Requirements

You will have experience working in a global environment (UK, US, China) and enjoy planning and executing on the delivery of global compensation and benefits projects in a collaborative fast-paced environment.

You will be excellent at project management, mobilizing stakeholders, and managing priorities. You will be a confident communicator on reward topics and establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.

You will have experience in supervising payroll delivery to SOX standards and be a highly numerate critical thinker who enjoys building a compelling story from data analysis.

You will have a working knowledge of HR information systems integral to global compensation planning, such as Oracle.
