About the Role

Cygnet Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce comprehensive and accurate written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and improve our services, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for our patients.
  • Attend all training and engage in continuing professional development to further your knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines, working collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medicines in accordance with healthcare procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of the latest nursing practices and a commitment to patient recovery.
  • Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empowering and supporting service user independence.
  • The ability to maintain accurate documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role.
  • An interest in leadership, research, and assessment.
  • Experience of working with Personality Disorder patients in a PD service.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Mental Health setting.
