About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Kinetech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of services and infrastructure, encompassing both on-premise and Azure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage on-premise servers (Windows), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure) to align with business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure, including regular maintenance such as patching and updates.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, including migration of end-of-life servers to the cloud, selecting and implementing a new disaster recovery solution, and enhancing security posture.
  • Report on infrastructure performance, incidents, and improvements.
Requirements
  • Wide infrastructure engineering experience with demonstrable experience in physical servers (Windows), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud (Azure).
  • Demonstrable experience with implementation of and backup maintenance (Veeam).
  • Experience with on-prem data center maintenance and management.
  • Demonstrable Azure management (VMs, NSG rules, storage accounts, etc.) to effectively contribute to the gradual migration of our environments to the cloud.
  • Disaster recovery implementation and regular testing.
  • Hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades.
  • Some networking experience desirable in configuring and maintaining network devices such as firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA), switches, WiFi, and routers.
  • Able to work end-to-end on projects, with initiative and willingness to learn, but also able to work as part of a small team.
