Job Title: AV Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AV Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the UK. As an AV Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing on-premise servers, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement on-premise servers, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure to meet the business needs.
  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of the infrastructure, including regular maintenance such as patching and updates.
  • Project Leadership: Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of network and infrastructure configurations, and provide regular reports on infrastructure performance, incidents, and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrable knowledge and experience with infrastructure, including virtualization, physical servers, and storage.
  • Windows Server: Proficient in Windows Server 2012-2019, AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover Manager, etc.
  • Veeam and Azure: Demonstrable experience with implementation of and backup maintenance (Veeam) and Azure Management (VMs, NSG rules, Storage accounts, etc.).
  • Networking and Security: Excellent hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network devices such as Firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA), Switches, WiFi, and Routers, as well as DR implementation and regular testing.
  • Hardware and Software Management: In-depth working knowledge of networking principles and technologies, hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades, and asset management.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/AZ-700/900, etc.
  • Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI: Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.

What We Offer:

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £52,000 per annum, plus pension and other benefits.
